It’s imperative that your marketing programs have a strong call-to-action that you can measure.  Invite your prospect to take the next step, regardless of what that step is.

You could ask them to:

  • Subscribe for more info (like you just did)
  • Clip this coupon
  • Mention this ad and save
  • Call “Judy” at 877-555-1234
  • Visit www.your-unique-tracking-domain.com

Or any of a hundred other things.

The important thing is to ask them to make the next step.  Many will say no, but some will say yes.  And those that do are the ones you want to spend more time with.
